Helen Sloan


Helen Sloan graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with LLB Honours in 2006.  She undertook her apprentice with O’Hare’s qualifying as a solicitor in September 2008.   

Helen regularly advises on all aspects of residential conveyancing, bank finance work and commercial leases and holds a certificate in commercial conveyancing.  Helen has an extensive knowledge of bookmaking licencing.

Brendan has a wide portfolio of clients and specialises in defence civil litigation and commercial litigation and arbitration. Allied to this he is also involved in corporate manslaughter and HSC investigations.  Brendan also has a keen interest in commercial transactions generally including company acquisition and disposal, and is a key advisor to a major waste management company.  

Brendan has also successfully litigated in company disputes between shareholders and has most recently been involved in advising on the impact of the NAMA legislation in Northern Ireland. Brendan has a reputation for assertive practice married to a practical interpretation of law to assist clients in pursuing their interests, bearing in mind the testing economic climate that exists today.
